Oatless Oats
A warm, protein-rich breakfast made from blended banana, egg whites, and vanilla, cooked into a creamy oat-like texture without any actual oats. Finished with hemp seeds, nut butter, and fresh berries. Submitted by Kyla & JR Burgess.
- – 1 banana
- – 4 egg whites (or can use 1 egg to 3 egg whites if desired)
- – 1 tsp. cinnamon
- – 1 tsp. vanilla
- – 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- – hemp seeds
- – any nut butter of your choice
- – fresh berries
- Combine banana with eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, vanilla protein powder; blend with immersion blender, food processor or magic bullet. You could use your fork, but I like mine more smooth.
- Coat pan with melted coconut oil before you pour in the batter.
Cook on medium heat until eggs are no longer runny; stir frequently. The Cook time is approximately 7-10 minutes.
- Once done cooking, top with hemp seeds, your favorite nut butter and berries!
