Oatless Oats

A warm, protein-rich breakfast made from blended banana, egg whites, and vanilla, cooked into a creamy oat-like texture without any actual oats. Finished with hemp seeds, nut butter, and fresh berries. Submitted by Kyla & JR Burgess.

  • – 1 banana
  • – 4 egg whites (or can use 1 egg to 3 egg whites if desired)
  • – 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • – 1 tsp. vanilla
  • – 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • – hemp seeds
  • – any nut butter of your choice
  • – fresh berries
  1. Combine banana with eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, vanilla protein powder; blend with immersion blender, food processor or magic bullet. You could use your fork, but I like mine more smooth.
  2. Coat pan with melted coconut oil before you pour in the batter.
  3. Cook on medium heat until eggs are no longer runny; stir frequently. The Cook time is approximately 7-10 minutes.

  4. Once done cooking, top with hemp seeds, your favorite nut butter and berries!
